Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing counseling professionals the flexibility to provide care from their preferred environment while ensuring a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for clients. Interactions with clients take place through secure telehealth platforms, providing a convenient means of communication that maintains the quality and effectiveness of therapy. Our outpatient facilities remain available for clients who prefer in-person sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and preliminary interviews, meticulously documenting each client's journey from initial consultation through to the conclusion of their treatment.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each client, including interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to foster personal growth and recovery.
\n
• Regularly monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
\n
• Collaborate seamlessly with other mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and medical practitioners, to formulate interdisciplinary intervention plans.
\n
• Maintain regular communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding clients who require hospitalization, ensuring a coordinated approach to care.
\n
• Identify potential behavioral risks that may hinder recovery efforts and implement proactive strategies to address them.
\n
• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers in managing the mental and behavioral challenges of their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds and age groups, all seeking assistance with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Your approach should be culturally sensitive and adaptable to meet the different needs of each client, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Holds current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• Successfully passed the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing your ability to navigate complex client situations.
\n
• Proficient in operating electronic health record systems, with experience in tools such as AVATAR preferred.
\n
• Knowledge of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on effective therapeutic engagement.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by a supportive and empathetic nature.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in collaborative case management and working as part of a multidisciplinary team is highly valued.

• Prior exposure to working with diverse populations is advantageous, especially in outpatient settings.

• Additional training or certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
