Work Environment\n

This role is situated in a supportive and innovative remote work environment, allowing flexibility in your daily schedule while ensuring comprehensive care for our patients. Our clinic fosters a culture of teamwork, where you will collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated care. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs, integrating psycho-social history and mental health evaluations to inform tailored treatment plans.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, catering to individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions aimed at fostering understanding and community among individuals facing similar challenges.
\n
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care, including case consultations and team meetings to evaluate treatment efficacy.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support, managing immediate mental health emergencies with professionalism and empathy.
\n
• Educate patients on mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and various community resources available to them, enhancing their understanding and self-efficacy.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of advances in the mental health field to enhance your skill set and therapeutic approaches.

As a therapist with Barwon Mental and Behavioral Services, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals from various backgrounds facing a spectrum of mental health issues. You will provide compassionate and culturally competent care, understanding the unique contexts in which each patient navigates their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Arizona.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of a variety of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and best practices in therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and create effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and their families.
\n
• Effective problem-solving capabilities and sound judgment, maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards at all times.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) software and other relevant computer applications to facilitate patient management and documentation.

• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment, working collaboratively to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
