Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to clients seeking emotional balance and stress relief.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients’ mental health challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals, personalizing mindfulness practices accordingly.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques to improve self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies.

• Incorporate mindfulness into individual therapy sessions tailored to address each client’s specific mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with colleagues and healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to therapy that includes mindfulness principles.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment modalities, and therapeutic plans in accordance with state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. You will support individuals seeking to enhance their mental wellness and personal growth through mindfulness practices. Clients will benefit from personalized treatment plans that prioritize their unique life experiences and therapeutic needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health counseling techniques, particularly as they relate to mindfulness practices.

• Excellent communication skills for creating a supportive therapeutic environment, alongside an empathetic and compassionate approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
