Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using mindfulness-based interventions such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to assist clients in managing stress and enhancing their overall well-being.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, stressors, and therapeutic goals, subsequently tailoring individualized treatment plans that incorporate mindfulness practices.

• Guide clients in mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques during sessions to foster self-awareness, stress reduction, and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate workshops and education sessions on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience strategies, empowering clients with practical tools for everyday challenges.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to each client's treatment, enhancing their outcomes through shared expertise.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress, therapeutic techniques used, and adjustments to treatment plans to facilitate continuity of care.

• Engage in continuous personal mindfulness practice and professional skills development to remain current in best practices and innovations in mindfulness interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily include individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions seeking support to improve their mental health through wellness-focused practices. By employing mindfulness techniques, you will help clients not only manage their current challenges but also equip them with lifelong skills for resilience and emotional regulation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Experience or training in implementing Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques in therapy is preferred to enhance the therapeutic process.

Compensation and Benefits\n
