Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, particularly MBSR, tailored to support clients in reducing stress and enhancing relaxation.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments that identify clients' individual stressors, mental health challenges, and personal goals, customizing mindfulness practices to meet their unique needs.

• Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques to foster emotional regulation and self-awareness.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and resilience-building strategies effectively.

• Incorporate mindfulness approaches into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders.

• Collaborate actively with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to integrate mindfulness strategies into holistic treatment plans.

• Maintain comprehensive and precise documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions implemented, and treatment plans developed.

• Commit to regular personal mindfulness practice and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance expertise in mindfulness techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position serves a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with high levels of stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. By utilizing mindfulness practices, you will assist clients in developing coping strategies and facilitating their journey toward improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid professional license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• Ability to demonstrate effective treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with the ability to create a supportive and calm therapeutic environment for clients.
