This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle while serving clients in our community health clinic effectively. Our team is available Monday through Saturday, ensuring we meet the varied needs of our patients. You will receive in-house credentialing support and management of your insurance participation, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality therapy.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Safe Harbor Therapeutic Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, tailoring your clinical interventions based on clients' unique circumstances.

• Providing graduate-level clinical social work or counseling interventions, effectively addressing the psychological, physical, educational, and safety needs of your patients.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in regular meetings to develop comprehensive care plans that are well-documented and accessible to all relevant staff.

• Managing case assignments that involve consultation and follow-up with hospital professionals and community resources to ensure holistic patient care.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to assist clients in successfully reaching their individualized service plans.

• Maintaining timely and ethical documentation of all therapeutic interventions and interactions as per departmental standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will primarily focus on diverse outpatient clients who may experience varying levels of mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals of all ages, including adolescents and families, who are seeking guidance, support, and effective therapeutic strategies. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid mental health license in Texas as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting.

• Willingness to commit to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to adapt sessions based on client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in working within outpatient community health clinics or similar environments will be advantageous. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and specialized approaches, such as CBT, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care, is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
