Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Princeton. Here, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, in a collaborative and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, restoring mobility, and achieving optimal function in patients.
• Lead evaluations to assess the patient's level of function by conducting diagnostic assessments that include muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests.
• Oversee and guide physical therapy assistants in the execution and adherence to treatment plans, ensuring they reflect the goals and needs of each patient.
• Provide physical therapy services individually tailored to each client, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the administration of modalities such as traction and massage as prescribed by their physicians.
• Evaluate home environments for rehabilitation needs and proactively recommend interventions to promote greater independence for clients.
• Participate in ongoing evaluation of client progress, document findings meticulously, and communicate regularly with the interdisciplinary team regarding changes in the client's condition.
• Collaborate in the creation and adaptation of comprehensive care plans, ensuring that all interventions align with best practices and are evidence-based.
• Instruct clients and their families on proper care and use of physical therapy devices, ensuring a thorough understanding of the rehabilitation process.
• Contribute to regular case conferences and meetings to coordinate care across disciplines and maximize patient outcomes.
• Prepare clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Flagship Healthcare Center, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, strokes, sports injuries, and other conditions requiring rehabilitation services. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.

• Proven ability to implement various manual therapy techniques and create effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
