Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Encompass Rehabilitation Center, you will:

• Develop and direct individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, enhancing functional abilities, and facilitating maximum performance in line with each client's capabilities.
• Oversee the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring that treatment plans are effectively implemented.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic tests and assessments, identifying the best course of action for rehabilitation.
• Assess clients' home environments, making informed recommendations that promote independence and enhance their quality of life.
• Deliver prescribed physical therapy services in patients' homes, rooted in thorough clinical assessments and physician guidelines.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual exercises, traction, massage, and other physical agents.
• Fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring that all modifications align with the physician's directives.
• Participate in care plan development and ongoing reviews, with input from interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and changes meticulously, generating clinical records such as evaluations, care plans, and discharge reports to maintain accurate patient histories.
• Engage in case conferences, bringing insights and observations on each patient's response to therapy, thus aiding in cohesive treatment planning.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
