Our counselors work from their own designated office spaces, utilizing secure video conferencing tools to conduct sessions seamlessly and safely.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations by engaging clients in preliminary interviews that capture their mental, emotional, and behavioral histories, ensuring comprehensive documentation from the first consultation through to treatment conclusion.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health through standardized assessments and clinical observations to inform treatment planning.
\n
• Develop and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, emphasizing evidence-based practices.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions, applying various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
\n
• Track and monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies as needed based on client feedback and clinical judgement.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers to devise comprehensive intervention plans that consider the full spectrum of client health.

• Manage care continuity by following up with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers for clients requiring hospitalization or integrated care.

• Educate and assist family members and primary caregivers in managing the challenges associated with clients' mental health issues, promoting supportive home environments that foster recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A passing score in the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is required.
\n
• Strong clinical experience as a mental health counselor is highly preferred, demonstrating a track record of successful patient engagement and therapy outcomes.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, with specific experience using AVATAR being a plus.
\n
• Knowledge and understanding of prevalent mental, behavioral, and emotional health conditions, including underlying physical health issues and addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is preferred.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in telehealth counseling to adapt methodologies effectively for online engagements.

Compensation and Benefits\n
