Key Responsibilities\n

• Lead and facilitate virtual and in-person parent support groups, fostering a therapeutic environment where parents feel supported and understood.

• Provide specialized training and resources to parents of children with mental health needs, including those encountering complex issues related to parenting and adoption, particularly for children prenatally exposed to substances.

• Conduct temperament counseling sessions to help parents understand and respond to their child's emotional and behavioral needs effectively.

• Perform developmental evaluations to assess and monitor children’s growth and developmental milestones, ensuring timely interventions whenever necessary.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of services provided, adhering to established policies and protocol for reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with school staff and mental health professionals to create individualized action plans that promote mental well-being in educational settings.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in social work and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on supporting children and their families who face mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program, ensuring a robust foundation in clinical practice.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a healthcare setting, with at least one year specifically in a mental health environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
