Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions with ethics and compassion via video chat.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Clients may present with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and stress management. The emphasis will be on developing clients' coping strategies and skills to enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Valid and current licensure in California as either a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Applicants must be fully licensed to practice independently without supervision.

• There should be no disciplinary actions or limited/provisional licenses on record.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine empathy for clients are essential.

• Proficiency with computer systems and teletherapy platforms is necessary to execute tasks effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While any experience in mental health counseling is valuable, familiarity with solution-focused therapy modalities and telehealth practices will be advantageous. Experience working with similar patient populations or in remote settings is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges between USD 90,000 and 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additional benefits include a sign-on bonus, a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors, direct weekly deposit for paychecks, and minimal paperwork, allowing you to focus on your clients rather than administrative tasks.
