Work Environment\n

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, developing treatment plans that address both short-term and long-term goals.

• Implement and coordinate behavioral health services, working collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary primary care team to ensure seamless care delivery.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of current trends and regulations in local, state, and federal behavioral health programs, applying this knowledge to enhance service effectiveness.

• Provide psychotherapeutic interventions tailored to client needs, adjusting strategies as necessary based on ongoing evaluations of their progress.

• Perform timely and courteous intakes for new clients, ensuring a welcoming environment that fosters open communication and trust.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, demonstrating mature judgment and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Facilitate referrals for clients requiring inpatient care or specialized services, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use issues.

• Screen for prescription drug abuse, illicit drug use, and alcohol dependency, providing counseling or referrals to appropriate community resources.

• Adhere to mental health policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with standards of practice within the behavioral health program.

You will primarily be working with clients facing significant life transitions, including those receiving hospice care. Many patients will exhibit a range of mental health concerns influenced by chronic illness, grief, and existential distress. Qualifications\n

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited institution.

We recognize your hard work and commitment to helping others by offering a competitive salary in the range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year.
