Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your education, training, and professional experience to evaluate and diagnose patients’ psychosocial conditions independently.

• Engage with patients to develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.

• Implement evidence-based behavioral therapies, such as solution-focused treatment, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving therapy, to support patients in their recovery journey.

• Collaborate with various healthcare providers including psychologists, primary care physicians, and wellness professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness through either in-person or virtual monitoring, making strategic adjustments to plans as necessary based on observed progress.

• Facilitate effective management of psychotropic medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence, monitoring side effects, and evaluating overall treatment efficacy.

The primary focus of this role will be supporting a diverse range of patients seeking detox and mental health services in the Chesapeake, Virginia area. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
