Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique psychosocial needs of clients in the detox program, ensuring adaptability as they progress.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial evaluations, assessing mental health conditions, substance use history, and treatment needs, while maintaining meticulous and confidential records.

• Establish and nurture therapeutic relationships characterized by trust and mutual respect, fostering a safe space for clients to explore their challenges.

• Facilitate dynamic and engaging therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing a variety of evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care and address comprehensive client needs, participating in case consultations and team meetings.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through supervision, training, and consultations to remain current with best practices in social work and substance use treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position directly supports a diverse patient population at our detox center, primarily focusing on individuals facing challenges with substance use and seeking recovery. You’ll be providing critical support during a vulnerable time, applying your expertise to guide clients through their initial detox phase and towards sustainable recovery strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic interventions for clients dealing with substance use or related mental health issues.

• Solid clinical skills and a strong understanding of evidence-based practices in therapy to support diverse client needs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy and understanding in a remote setting.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as a willingness to engage actively with a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in clinical social work, particularly in substance abuse and mental health.

• Prior experience working within a detox facility or substance use treatment program is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
