Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies for clients.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide seamless, high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training to enhance knowledge of mental health advancements and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will primarily work with a diverse population of clients, including those facing mental health challenges, substance abuse issues, and the effects of trauma. Our patient focus emphasizes therapeutic interventions that are culturally sensitive and individualized, allowing us to address varying degrees of emotional distress and personal circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline.

• Hold an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Connecticut.
\n
• Experience providing counseling services for at least two years, ideally in a clinical or telehealth context.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of legal, ethical, and professional standards within the mental health field.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients effectively.

• Proven experience in collaborating with healthcare teams is essential for enhancing patient outcomes.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
