Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health status and tailor individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients.

• Regularly monitor progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal client outcomes.

• Guide clients in developing coping strategies, providing them with management tools to address issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and eating disorders.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will encounter a diverse client base, including individuals experiencing a variety of mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and trauma-related challenges. Given the breadth of issues faced by our patients, cultural competence and sensitivity will be paramount in your practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Solid understanding of various mental health disorders, effective treatment modalities, and cultural considerations in therapeutic practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and a strong ability to remain composed in challenging situations.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
