Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact on young learners by supporting their growth and development as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. This contract opportunity offers both full-time and part-time options, serving self-contained groups of 6-8 children in a supportive, collaborative classroom environment within a well-established early learning program near Minneapolis, MN.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid MDE Early Childhood Special Education teaching license
• Previous experience in special education, especially with early childhood or preschool-aged students, is highly desirable
• Strong ability to collaborate with other educators and classroom support staff
• Dedication to inclusive, individualized instruction and positive behavioral support
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to two groups of students, with paraeducators supporting both morning and afternoon sessions
• Manage classroom routines and foster a safe, nurturing learning space
• Monitor student progress, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP development meetings
• Use Monday as a dedicated day for paperwork, meetings, team planning, or floating support as needed across the ECSE program
• Communicate regularly with families and other care team members to ensure consistent, comprehensive support for each student

Schedule Options:

• Full time: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-4:15pm (with 37.5 hours/week)
• Part time: Flexible group options, such as mornings or select full days, based on current availability. Opportunity may expand to a full-time schedule.
