Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, identifying their unique emotional and psychological needs for tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies, frequently adjusting them based on client progress and feedback.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other relevant frameworks aligned with client goals.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients facing urgent mental health challenges, demonstrating a calm and effective response during high-stress situations.

• Foster an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment that promotes open dialogue and builds trust among clients, their families, and staff.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of client sessions, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards related to mental health practice.

• Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation to continuously refine clinical skills and share insights with your colleagues.

As an LCMFT at Psyche Counseling LLC, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals seeking help with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship conflicts, and family dynamics. You will have the opportunity to guide couples through challenges in their relationships and support parents seeking strategies for managing the complexities of family life. Our clinic serves clients of various backgrounds, emphasizing cultural competency in treatment approaches and understanding the unique challenges faced by different communities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in the state of Maryland.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with experience in case management.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to facilitate meaningful therapeutic relationships.

• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing positively to a collaborative team atmosphere.

• Familiarity with ethical guidelines, patient confidentiality, and best practices in therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
