Work Environment\n

This position offers the convenience of remote work, allowing for a flexible schedule while maintaining a structured work-life balance. Our dedicated team operates during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Collaborating with fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and medical professionals, you will work together to support our clients’ mental health journeys in a culture that fosters teamwork, engagement, and continuous professional growth.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to assess the nature, intensity, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.

• Create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their individual goals and preferences to ensure tailored therapeutic support.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), that facilitate clients’ coping strategies and improve their emotional well-being.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, offering insights into treatment options and self-care techniques that empower them in their healing journey.
\n
• Track and monitor clients’ progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans where necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, comprehensive mental health care.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in the treatment of mood disorders, continually enhancing your clinical practice based on new research.

• Document all client interactions accurately and adhere to legal and ethical guidelines to maintain confidentiality and integrity in treatment records.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and learning from fellow professionals to improve your clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders, helping to reduce stigma and enhance their mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Our client population is diverse, encompassing various cultural, economic, and social backgrounds. By understanding their unique experiences and challenges, you will contribute significantly to their therapeutic journey and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• Demonstrable expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists is essential.

• Proven ability to achieve positive outcomes in treating mood disorders, evidenced by previous success in clinical practice.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, paired with the ability to build rapport with clients from varying backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting, particularly working with diverse populations facing various mental health challenges.

• Expertise in providing group therapy focused on mood disorders, as well as individual therapy.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year. Additional benefits include:
