Work Environment

This full-time physical therapist position is an onsite role, requiring direct interaction with patients in our North Port facility. You will collaborate with a small team of professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), ensuring a comprehensive care approach. Our typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured schedule that supports work-life balance. We accept private health insurance providers, making it easier for patients to access necessary services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Motion Menders Therapy, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' needs, designing personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Manage 2-3 patients per hour, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's goals.
• Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, to enhance mobility and function.
• Develop and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs to address the specific needs of patients.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
• Encourage patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation by fostering motivation and healthy habits.
• Document patient care and treatment outcomes accurately within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Advocate for non-surgical treatment options and help minimize the reliance on prescription medications.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.

• Familiarity with EMR software such as WebPT for efficient case management.
