Corehab Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated Clinical Physical Therapist to join our vibrant outpatient rehabilitation team in Sarasota, Florida. Work Environment

The work setting at Corehab is a positive and energetic outpatient rehabilitation facility where teamwork and patient-centered care are central to our approach. As a Clinical Physical Therapist, you will work onsite, interacting daily with patients and collaborating closely with fellow therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers. Our hours of operation are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, fostering a balanced work-life environment. This position does not require evening or weekend shifts, allowing ample time for personal pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
• Provide hands-on therapy, utilizing manual techniques and exercises to enhance mobility and function.
• Utilize cost-effective and evidence-based treatment interventions, prioritizing non-invasive options.
• Engage in continuous patient education, motivating individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles and proactive recovery strategies.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patients' progress, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and treatment results accurately using our EMR system, with a focus on WebPT for efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, contributing to team meetings and case discussions.
• Participate in staff development opportunities, sharing insights and advancements in physical therapy practices.

Our focus is on orthopedic care, and we emphasize the importance of preventive measures and rehabilitation strategies to minimize recovery times and enhance overall well-being. Each therapist is encouraged to develop rapport with patients, recognizing the unique challenges they face and providing empathy and support throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A clean professional record with no history of sanctions or legal proceedings related to licensure.
• A strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and a comprehensive knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation methods.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• Current knowledge of best practices in physical therapy supported by evidence-based research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient setting and familiarity with a variety of patient demographics.
• Prior involvement in developing wellness programs or community outreach initiatives.
• Advanced training in specialized therapy techniques or modalities such as dry needling, trigger point therapy, or Pilates-based rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
