Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW, you will be tasked with an array of vital responsibilities tailored to meet the unique mental health needs of patients in hospice care:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the psychological status of individuals, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans informed by established best practices and the specific needs of the patients.

• Maintaining comprehensive and timely clinical documentation in alignment with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and professional standards are upheld.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on diverse patient groups within the hospice setting, who are navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges associated with advanced illness, grief, and transition. You will work with patients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally sensitive approaches to care that recognize the individual’s unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, specifically in providing psychotherapy services, with a focus on end-of-life care or hospice experience being highly desirable.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including knowledge of solution-based interventions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective rapport building with clients and collaboration with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience within a hospice or palliative care setting is advantageous, as well as familiarity with managing grief, trauma, and other related mental health concerns. A background in working with family systems theory is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer competitive compensation, with a salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 yearly , based on experience. Additional benefits include:
