Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to assess patients' histories and identify personalized treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on promoting trauma recovery and enhancing resilience within our clients.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to foster understanding and empowerment.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance the quality of care and explore new therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Stay updated with the latest research and evidence-based practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve our service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a vital role in creating a safe and trusting therapeutic environment where clients can feel supported as they navigate their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current valid licensure as one of the following: LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and a sound knowledge of trauma-informed treatment practices.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with digital communication platforms.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to deliver compassionate and respectful care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure therapeutic experience in a clinical setting.

• Proven experience in delivering evidence-based therapy interventions focused on trauma.
\n
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
