Work Environment

This is an onsite position where therapists provide home care services directly to patients in their own living environments. This unique setting allows practitioners to assess the home dynamics and tailor their treatment approaches accordingly. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgical procedures in their homes.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a mix of therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting treatments and responses in adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Continuously reassess therapeutic goals and modify treatment strategies as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on proper techniques for rehabilitation, self-care strategies, and use of assistive devices.
• Stay abreast of advancements in the field by engaging in professional development opportunities such as workshops and seminars.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on a diverse patient population encompassing various ages and a range of physical conditions. You may treat young children recovering from sports injuries, adults managing chronic pain, or elderly patients rehabilitating after surgery. Each case requires a tailored approach, employing creativity and skill to resolve the unique challenges facing each patient.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license for Physical Therapy is essential.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Familiarity with computer systems and word processing is important for maintaining electronic health records.
• A flexible and adaptive approach to patient care, demonstrating agility in various home settings.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of prior experience in physical therapy is preferred, we welcome new graduates with a strong dedication to their profession and a desire to learn

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
