Work Environment

This Physical Therapist position is primarily onsite, focusing on home care services, which allows you to provide treatment in the comfort of the patient's environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, gathering pertinent medical history and conducting detailed assessments to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, involving them actively in setting achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise by implementing treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs and addressing the evolving landscape of healthcare.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, respecting the input of colleagues and making timely adjustments to care plans based on patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working with a diverse array of patient demographics, including elderly individuals, those recovering from surgery, individuals managing chronic pain, and patients requiring rehabilitation following injury. You will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life through tailored physical therapy interventions in their home environments.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• A strong commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a physical therapy role, demonstrating capability in evaluating and treating a diverse patient population.
• Experience in home care settings is highly desirable but not required.
