Work Environment

This role is based at our fully-equipped rehabilitation center in Carteret, NJ, delivered onsite. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop effective treatment plans tailored to their specific conditions.
• Implement a range of treatment modalities, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques that focus on improving patient mobility and reducing pain.
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout the patient journey, ensuring that communication is clear and empathetic at all times.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices in rehabilitation.
• Deliver in-home therapy services to patients when appropriate, ensuring continuity of care as prescribed in the physician's plan.
• Educate and empower patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, rehabilitation processes, and strategies for functional improvement.
• Meet or exceed minimum utilization metrics and contribute to the organization's overall effectiveness and efficiency in patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position encompasses a diverse patient population, including those with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric issues, and sports-related ailments. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) as certified by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in physical therapy practice.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients and colleagues alike.
• Competency in using word processing and basic computer applications related to patient documentation and care coordination.
• A proven ability to establish rapport with patients, leading to successful achievement of their functional goals.
• A personable demeanor and a heartfelt desire to connect with patients in a positive manner.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a variety of specialties such as sports medicine, pediatrics, and neurology would be beneficial but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the latest evidence-based physical therapy practices and treatment technologies.

Compensation and Benefits
