Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.

• Facilitate individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions using various approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Document and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure excellence in client care.

• Engage actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and collaborate on care strategies to enhance overall client outcomes.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay abreast of the latest research and therapeutic practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health resources. The clientele often presents with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress related to family dynamics or substance misuse. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these clients navigate their circumstances and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
