Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, to identify student needs.

• Collaborate with students to craft tailored treatment plans that consider their specific goals and cultural backgrounds.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), in various formats including individual, family, and group sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention and collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for students facing acute challenges.

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, in compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.

• Empower students and families through psychoeducation, enhancing their capacity to manage mental health and navigate life's challenges.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive network for students, involving school counselors, psychologists, and health professionals.

• Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment strategies and make data-driven adjustments to optimize student outcomes.

• Stay engaged with current research and trends in mental health care, integrating new findings into your practice to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents who require mental health support. You will work with students dealing with various issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family stressors. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.

• Must possess an active LCSW license in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
