The Senior Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Compassionate Psychiatric Services will provide specialized care for individuals facing mental health challenges within an assisted living facility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to accurately diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs, ensuring evidence-based methodologies are employed effectively.

• Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications, continually assessing their effectiveness and making necessary adjustments to improve patient outcomes.

• Provide therapeutic services, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to facilitate patient engagement and recovery.

• Collaborate consistently with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, and engage in case discussions for optimal patient treatment.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care practices for ongoing support.

• Regularly assess progress and document changes in symptoms, medication response, and therapeutic effectiveness in patient records.

• Conduct follow-up appointments to review treatment effectiveness, address emerging concerns, and adapt care plans as required.

Compensation and Benefits
