Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments tailored to the unique needs of each student, covering emotional, social, and academic factors.

• Provide individual and group counseling to address varying issues, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and grief.

• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and healthcare professionals to integrate mental health strategies within the school environment.

• Develop crisis intervention plans and provide immediate support in emergency situations, ensuring students' safety and well-being.

• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for school staff on topics such as mental health awareness and intervention techniques.

• Coordinate with community resources and organizations to arrange ongoing support and services for students following discharge from counseling.

• Document all interactions and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with healthcare laws and Great Lake policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. You will also engage with their families, offering support, resources, and education to ensure holistic care. Your role will be vital in promoting mental health awareness within schools, foster resilience, and enhancing the overall educational experience of every student.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
