Work Environment\n

This role will be conducted from a remote setting, allowing you flexibility while still providing vital assistance to students. You will closely collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other academic staff, creating a seamless bridge between social work and education. Although primarily remote, you may occasionally be required to attend in-person meetings or workshops to engage with the school community.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Evaluate the psychosocial needs of students through comprehensive assessments, focusing on their emotional, mental, and social conditions.

• Work closely with students and their families to develop tailored action plans that address individual challenges, ensuring alignment with educational goals.

• Provide guidance and counseling to students navigating personal and academic challenges, including issues related to anxiety, family dynamics, and peer relationships.

• Advocate for students' rights and effective access to community resources, ensuring they have the necessary support systems in place.

• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure the continuous evaluation of students’ progress, adapting care plans as needed to reflect their evolving needs.

• Facilitate workshops and support groups for students and families, helping to deepen their understanding of available resources and coping strategies.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with educators, counselors, and healthcare professionals to implement holistic approaches to student care.

• Maintain precise documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and case notes using electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. This will also enhance communication among the care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students within the academic setting, ranging from early childhood through high school. You will provide support for various issues including emotional disturbances, behavioral obstacles, and complex family dynamics. Understanding the diverse cultural background of students in Arvada will also play a crucial role in tailoring your supportive strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a social work role, with a preference for experience in educational or school settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
