This role primarily focuses on providing vital support and services to seniors, particularly within a remote school setting. Work Environment\n

The work environment is predominantly remote, allowing flexibility while ensuring continuity of support for our clients. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, although some flexibility may be required to accommodate client needs, including occasional evening or weekend hours. As a Senior Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals, nurses, and caregivers, ensuring that care aligns with the specific needs of the senior population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of seniors' psychosocial needs, taking into account emotional, mental, and social factors to develop personalized care plans.

• Provide ongoing counseling and emotional support to seniors and their families, guiding them through various life transitions and challenges.

• Advocate for clients' rights, ensuring access to necessary community resources and support services.

• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care offerings, conducting regular visits to monitor and address clients' well-being and living conditions.

• Document client interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately, maintaining compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

• Facilitate conflict resolution among family members and improve communication regarding senior clients' care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
