Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still being an essential part of our community's school support system. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional flexibility required for after-hours client needs. We understand the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance, so you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule while ensuring client care is prioritized.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' psychosocial needs, taking into account their emotional, educational, and familial backgrounds.

• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with students and their families to foster academic success and emotional well-being.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions aimed at addressing common challenges faced by school-aged children, such as anxiety, depression, and family dynamics.

• Advocate for students’ rights to ensure access to appropriate educational resources and community support services.
\n
• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and other health professionals to develop an integrated approach to student support.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-up consultations and adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.

• Facilitate workshops and educational programs for families to enhance their involvement and understanding of community resources.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain compliance with professional standards.

• Stay informed of updates to social work practices, policies, and state regulations to ensure best practices are followed.

Your primary focus will be on students and their families, supporting them through various challenges they encounter in their educational journey. You will work closely with a diverse group of clients, recognizing the unique backgrounds and experiences they bring. Understanding the complexities of adolescent development and family dynamics will be crucial as you support these clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

• A minimum of two years of professional social work experience, with a preference for experience in educational or community settings.

• Thorough understanding of social work principles and child development theories.

• Exceptional counseling and communication skills, capable of engaging both students and families effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
