Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and/or Medical Team Administrator to design and implement comprehensive mental health treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Facilitate in-service training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and security staff to enhance their understanding of mental health issues and appropriate interventions.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, swiftly assessing situations to calm clients and prevent escalation.
\n
• Attend commitment hearings or provide testimony as required, advocating for the best outcomes for patients.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals for each client, ensuring their mental health needs are met effectively.
\n
• Document all patient interactions diligently, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Safeguard the confidentiality of medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and best practices.
\n
• Verify clients' past mental health histories, including any psychotropic medications they may have taken, to inform current treatment approaches.
\n
• Prepare regular and special reports on patient progress, treatment success, and clinical outcomes as required.
\n
• Collaborate with nursing and mental health staff to ensure smooth post-release referrals, facilitating a seamless transition into ongoing care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a wide array of patients, including those facing substance misuse, trauma, and various mental health disorders. Our clinic supports individuals undergoing detoxification and those in need of restorative psychological care. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Oregon is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
