Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, identifying their goals and needs through one-on-one consultations.
• Create individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote movement recovery and physical function.
• Deliver targeted interventions in 40-minute sessions per patient, ensuring efficient and effective care tailored to each individual's progress.
• Monitor patient progress, adapting care plans as necessary to optimize treatment outcomes and enhance mobility.
• Provide education and reassurance to patients regarding their treatment modalities, managing their expectations throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care strategies that address all aspects of a patient's health.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress updates to ensure a seamless patient journey.
• Encourage and motivate patients during therapy, helping them understand the correlation between strength, flexibility, and overall health.
• Engage with patients to promote healthy lifestyles, focusing on diet, exercise, and wellness.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on the latest practices and developments in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse patient population, including athletes, active adults, and individuals recovering from major surgeries or physical ailments. Our practice primarily focuses on patients with orthopedic concerns, emphasizing rehabilitation that restores strength and balance. We actively treat those who are covered under commercial insurance as well as private pay clients, providing accessible care options to meet various financial needs.

Qualifications

• A valid Virginia State license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MS or DPT) is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working in an outpatient setting, showcasing a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, crucial for effectively managing patient relationships.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
