While the majority of client interactions are conducted virtually, counselors will also have the opportunity to engage with clients in our outpatient office as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Steadfast Support Clinic, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy tailored to the needs of assigned populations.

• Conducting child and family counseling sessions based on clients that satisfy the medical necessity criteria as per the DSM-V.
\n
• Developing, facilitating, and leading psycho-educational groups and classes focused on parenting and mental health topics.
\n
• Completing client case documentation, including required program forms and statistical data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
\n
• Maintaining timely charting, reporting, and submission of statistics to meet treatment goals and improve client outcomes.
\n
• Meeting contractual billing obligations by achieving a designated number of reimbursable billable hours.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve engaging with children and community clients who may be facing a variety of mental health challenges. This can include anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Understanding diverse cultural backgrounds and tailoring therapeutic approaches to fit individual client needs will be crucial in successfully fostering growth and healing.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, including LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and documentation requirements efficiently.

• Self-motivation and the proactive ability to manage action items related to billing hours and maintain client records.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a counseling setting, demonstrating a clear understanding of therapeutic practices and client engagement strategies.
