Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, offering you the flexibility to provide therapy services from the comfort of your home while still being part of a passionate and collaborative team. The working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough evaluations to assess clients' mood disorder symptoms, focusing on their intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client recovery.

• Provide psychoeducation for clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mood disorders, available treatments, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to continuously enhance therapy practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation per legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and collaborate on client care.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, working towards reducing the stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals facing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Many of our clients come from varied backgrounds, including homeless populations, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Therefore, cultural competence and a compassionate approach are essential to effectively address the specific challenges they face in their lives.
