This role will involve providing critical therapeutic services in a remote school environment, allowing you to significantly enhance the mental health and well-being of students.

Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while integrating seamlessly into school facilities. Our environment promotes collaboration among mental health professionals, educators, and support staff, fostering a community-oriented approach to student mental health. While the standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be needed to accommodate the schedules of students and their families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that probe into the emotional and psychological needs of students, facilitating the creation of individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to conduct therapeutic sessions with students, parents, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups, targeting common challenges faced by students and creating a supportive peer environment.
\n
• Collaborate with educational professionals, psychiatrists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to each student’s care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support, equipping students with coping strategies during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate students and their families about mental health topics, treatment choices, and the accessory role of community resources in supporting mental health.

• Document all patient interactions and progress in a manner compliant with healthcare regulations, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient records.

• Engage actively in team meetings, participate in professional development initiatives, and contribute to case discussions to enhance collaborative practice.

• Stay informed about the latest research and trends in mental health therapy to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele for this role includes children and adolescents in school settings who experience varied mental health challenges. Our therapists work closely with families, teachers, and school staff to create a supportive network that promotes healing and resilience in students. Each interaction is designed to make a significant impact on the students’ emotional and academic development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Arizona as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
\n
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and treatment methodologies.

• Ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective, client-centered treatment plans.

• Demonstrated experience providing therapy to individuals and groups, particularly within diverse populations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build trust and rapport with students and their families.

• Strong ethical judgment and professionalism in maintaining boundaries.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computing applications.

• Ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health therapy, particularly in an educational or school-based setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Blissful Balance Therapeutic Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
