Work Environment\n

This role is structured as a remote position, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own home while still benefiting from a collaborative team environment. You will engage with patients through our telehealth platform, ensuring accessible care that aligns with contemporary clinical practices. Your work schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in hours to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and determine suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing recovery and fostering resilience among patients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients with the necessary tools to process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating sensitivity and urgency.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping mechanisms to support their healing journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities tailored to trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies related to trauma therapy, ensuring the use of best practices in your clinical work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals who have been affected by various forms of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. The patients you serve may present with challenges stemming from past traumatic experiences, such as emotional distress, behavioral issues, and difficulty in forming healthy relationships. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding them towards recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications required for telehealth services.

• Collaboration skills to effectively work within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with extensive experience delivering trauma-informed care and those who possess specialized training in trauma therapies are highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits\n
