Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide personalized therapy strategies tailored to individual client needs, conducting robust assessments and evaluations that guide treatment planning.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to address complex mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive client care, including participation in case reviews and treatment planning meetings.

• Maintain precise and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal, ethical, and policy requirements, ensuring compliance and high standards of practice.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training, remaining abreast of current research and advancements in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals and families who face significant challenges in accessing mental health care. Our clients may present with a myriad of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relational conflicts. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of California.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical counseling setting, providing individual and group therapy.

• Demonstrated expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse interventions is strongly preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of legal and ethical responsibilities related to mental health practice is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, fostering a supportive and integrative approach to client care.

• Familiarity with EMR systems and telehealth technologies is required.
