Work Environment\n

The work will primarily be conducted remotely, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while maintaining a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide holistic care tailored to clients' needs.

• Stay engaged in professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to enhance clinical skills and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Gentle Empathy, you will work with a diverse clientele facing an array of emotional and psychological challenges. Our clients include individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and various life transitions. You'll be at the forefront of supporting them as they navigate their mental health journeys, fostering their resilience and self-efficacy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license in Mental Health Counseling, such as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT, in California.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, providing mental health counseling to a diverse range of clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances quickly.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits\n
