Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Peace of Mind Mental Health Care & Counseling, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children with disabilities or developmental delays.

• Participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) based on assessment outcomes.
\n
• Monitoring and evaluating progress as a key member of an interdisciplinary team focused on child development.
\n
• Providing coaching and support to families, empowering them with tools and strategies to foster their child’s growth.
\n
• Adhering to all federal and state regulations while maintaining records that comply with industry standards.
\n
• Establishing rapport with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment practices to implement IFSPs.
\n
• Delivering timely communication with families regarding their child’s developmental progress and needs.
\n
• Engaging in continuous professional development to stay abreast of best practices in early intervention and social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on young children, particularly those with disabilities or developmental delays. You will provide vital early intervention services, assisting children in developing essential skills in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication areas. The ultimate goal is to empower families to support their child’s development and improve overall family well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.

• Current LCSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health.
\n
• A valid driver’s license for potential travel to family homes within the area.

• Strong organization, time management, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
