Work Environment\n

This role is conducted entirely remotely, enabling you to effectively engage with students and staff while enjoying the flexibility of a work-from-home setting. You will primarily work with students and educators, collaborating with a network of professionals, including teachers and school counselors, to integrate mental health services into the educational framework.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy and mental health services to students facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

• Conduct thorough assessments of each student’s emotional and social functioning to identify needs and inform treatment plans.
\n
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that respect cultural competencies and the unique circumstances of each student.

• Work collaboratively with educators, school administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student mental health care.

• Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback from students and stakeholders.

• Provide education and support to students and their families, highlighting available resources and treatment options for mental health conditions.

• Maintain strict adherence to ethical standards, including patient confidentiality and informed consent processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be students ranging from elementary to high school ages, who may exhibit various mental health conditions. This position allows you to impact the lives of young individuals significantly, using your expertise to guide them towards improved mental health and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health services, specifically within educational environments or with youth populations.

• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational professionals.
\n
• Strong assessment and clinical skills necessary to design effective, individualized treatment strategies.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and mental health management software is advantageous.

• Understanding of common mental health issues facing students, including developmental and social challenges.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
