Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate actively with medical staff and support teams to ensure thorough diagnosis and management of psychiatric disorders.

• Prepare detailed clinical reports and personalized treatment plans, addressing unique patient needs.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress while upholding ethical standards and state reporting requirements.

• Recommend treatment modifications based on patient needs in collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, focusing on assessments of personal, social, and environmental factors.

• Assess and document suicide risk with clinical precision and create safety plans as necessary.

• Provide crisis intervention services, including emergency consultations, ensuring immediate support for individuals in distress.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities to conduct therapy sessions, educational workshops, and support counseling across various platforms.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals from diverse backgrounds, placed in vulnerable situations, including mothers who may be dealing with postpartum challenges, trauma, or mental health disorders. You will also support clients struggling with substance abuse and those dealing with socio-economic barriers to accessing care. Your role is vital in breaking down these barriers and promoting mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A valid driver’s license is required for occasional onsite visits to veterans’ homes or other locations when necessary.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or related fields from an accredited institution.

• An independent license to practice in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) is mandatory.

• Strong organizational skills to manage a substantial client caseload effectively.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a passion for enriching the lives of others through mental health care.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems to document patient interactions efficiently.

• Strong proficiency in standard computer applications, including Windows and email communication.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
