Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home while using our advanced telehealth platform to connect with your clients. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule, although regular working hours are expected from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each young client's developmental stage and family context.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy sessions, to effectively address mental health challenges.

• Engage in crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and resources are available to affected clients.
\n
• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and holistic care through regular case consultations and feedback loops.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment possibilities, and community resources to empower them in their care journeys.
\n
• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation and reports in adherence to ethical and legal guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities to stay updated on best practices and advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, along with their families. This role emphasizes a family-centered approach, where you will support not only the young clients but also their caregivers to foster a nurturing and therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey is essential.
\n
• Proficient understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Proven experience in providing individual and family therapy to young clients is mandatory.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and rapport-building skills, with a compassionate approach towards children and families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and a willingness to embrace technology as a part of patient care.

• A collaborative mindset, valuing teamwork within our multidisciplinary team structure.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting focusing on children and adolescents.

• Experience in community health settings, particularly with diverse populations, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
