The Silver Head Psychiatry Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will be integral in providing crucial counseling services to clients at our remote Detox Center in Riverside, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in co-occurring counseling and the ability to assess and support clients struggling with substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing thorough assessments of clients' counseling needs, with a specific focus on identifying substance abuse issues.
\n
• Using the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to evaluate client conditions and determine the most appropriate level of care based on ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) standards.
\n
• Preparing thorough treatment plans that emphasize substance abuse counseling tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
\n
• Developing comprehensive discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate clients' transitions to the next appropriate level of treatment.
\n
• Documenting all professional interactions, including counseling sessions, assessments, referrals, and other relevant services in the client's clinical record.
\n
• Maintaining an active client caseload, along with all necessary case management responsibilities and utilization review updates.
\n
• Coordinating essential support services for clients and families while ensuring accurate record-keeping of provided services.
\n
• Engaging with various referral sources, including legal, educational, and employment agencies, to support holistic client care.
\n
• Facilitating crisis interventions collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team approach, ensuring that client needs are met effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing substance use disorders and those with co-occurring mental health disorders. Through your support, you will play a direct role in improving patient outcomes and fostering long-term recovery, making a significant impact on their lives.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required, with a current LCSW license.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, which is commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
