Work Environment

The Rehabilitation Center presents a welcoming, supportive, and innovative atmosphere where our staff collaborates closely to achieve optimal patient care. As a member of our team, you will work onsite Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, allowing for a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. Our center is equipped with modern rehabilitation equipment and technology, ensuring you have the resources needed to provide effective therapy.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Reliant, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients, analyzing functional movement, and developing customized treatment plans that prioritize patient goals and needs.
• Delivering personalized therapeutic interventions, including exercise programs and manual therapies, aimed at restoring strength and mobility.
• Collaborating with physicians and the patient care team to establish comprehensive care plans for each patient.
• Educating patients and their families about recovery processes, including the use of prosthetic devices and therapeutic appliances.
• Assessing and documenting patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Providing skilled therapy in-home when necessary, offering continuity of care beyond the rehabilitation center.
• Managing caseload priorities and staffing requirements to ensure all patients receive quality attention and effective treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. This diverse population requires specialized, tailored approaches to rehabilitation that address their unique medical histories and functional limitations. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them through their post-operative recovery and rehabilitation processes, utilizing evidenced-based practices.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Current Physical Therapy License in the state of New Jersey.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• A passion for orthopedic rehabilitation and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

While previous experience as a Physical Therapist is not required, we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment. Familiarity with rehabilitative practices and technology is advantageous but not mandatory. Newly licensed professionals are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

Reliant offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
