Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cardiovascular assessments and screenings, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to evaluate patients' heart health and risk factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments, focusing on disease prevention and management of both acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, ensuring patient understanding and adherence to prescribed regimens to optimize health outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health management, lifestyle modifications, and effective prevention strategies to minimize heart disease risks.
• Collaborate with community organizations to design and facilitate heart health education programs, promoting awareness and preventative care in the wider community.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations, leveraging electronic health record systems to enhance care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse patient population, including those with pre-existing chronic heart conditions, patients at risk for cardiovascular disease, and those seeking preventative care. You will employ culturally sensitive approaches to ensure equitable access to services and enhance patient engagement in their healthcare journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution with a specialization relevant to Cardiovascular Nursing.
• An active and unrestricted state nursing license, along with additional certifications in Cardiovascular Nursing or a related field.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, particularly in cardiology or cardiovascular health settings. Experience delivering care in community or public health environments will be advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience in conducting cardiovascular assessments and collaborating in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 160,000 annually, reflecting your experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
