Work Environment

This position is full-time and requires onsite work within an assisted living facility in the Orangeburg area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cardiovascular assessments for residents, including comprehensive history-taking, physical examinations, and necessary testing such as ECG and echocardiograms.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings and patient needs, focusing on both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Prescribe medications, manage treatment regimens, and provide follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about heart health, prevention strategies, lifestyle modifications, and self-management techniques for chronic conditions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices within cardiology.
• Collaborate with community organizations to promote heart health awareness and participate in developing community outreach programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
