Key Responsibilities

As a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner at FirstCare Medical Center, your key tasks will include:

• General Medical Care : Deliver holistic care to adult and geriatric patients, managing both acute and chronic cardiac health issues.
• Evaluations : Conduct thorough evaluations involving history taking, physical examinations, and patient assessments to identify and document accurate diagnoses.
• Medical Planning : Develop and implement individualized care plans that reflect patient needs and clinical findings, revising them as appropriate for evolving health conditions.
• Procedures : Perform necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, leveraging your expertise to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Medication Management : Responsible for prescribing and managing medication regimens, ensuring that patients receive optimal therapeutic benefit while minimizing potential risks.
• Documentation : Maintain precise and timely records of patient care and interactions, including medical histories, treatment plans, and billing information, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on a diverse group of adult and geriatric patients experiencing cardiac issues, including but not limited to hypertension, heart disease, and arrhythmias. You will work closely with patients to educate them about their conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications that can improve their health outcomes.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

• Education : A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner focus.
• Experience : A minimum of three years of proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner, particularly in geriatrics or a related field.
• Clinical Skills : Strong diagnostic acumen and clinical capabilities, coupled with proficiency in executing medical procedures specific to cardiology.
• Communication Skills : Excellent oral and written communication abilities to interact effectively with doctors, staff, patients, and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
